MODEROID "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" Super Mechagodzilla Model Kit Unleashes Heavy Firepower and Combination Gimmicks!

The assembly model kit series "MODEROID" from Good Smile Company's MECHA SMILE brand is set to release a brand new entry from the film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla": the "MODEROID Super Mechagodzilla," launching in March 2027!

The "Super Mechagodzilla" first appeared in the 1993 film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (ゴジラvsメカゴジラ)." This ultimate anti-Godzilla weapon is formed by the combination of Mechagodzilla and the Garuda. It was reverse-engineered from the remains of Mecha-King Ghidorah, which had crashed into the sea in the previous film. Equipped with an arsenal including the Mega Buster Ray, Laser Cannons, G-Crusher, and Plasma Grenade, it initially overwhelmed Godzilla, rendering the King of the Monsters immobile. However, Godzilla ultimately turned the tide and defeated it after absorbing Rodan's life energy.

The "MODEROID Super Mechagodzilla" faithfully recreates its iconic appearance using pre-colored parts, pre-painted sections, and waterslide decals. The model kit can separate into its constituent components: "Mechagodzilla" and "Garuda." Mechagodzilla stands approximately 20cm tall and features articulated joints, allowing for dynamic poses, including its flight mode from the film. It comes with interchangeable hand parts, and its eye parts are pre-painted, with two types of clear parts included. The Garuda measures approximately 14.5cm in length, and its cannon barrels can be rotated and adjusted. Through interchangeable parts, collectors can recreate its signature weapons, the "G-Crusher" and "Plasma Grenade." A dedicated cable for the "G-Crusher" is also included to replicate its firing state!
