Japanese capsule toy maker Kitan Club has announced a brand-new capsule toy series, "Kobosu Series: Miso Soup - Cat Edition -". These figures are set to hit gashapon machines starting July 17, 2026, priced at 500 yen per play, with a total of 5 different designs.
The "Kobosu Series" is Kitan Club's unique capsule toy line, themed around "the precarious moments of everyday accidents." It brings to life those heart-pounding, clumsy situations with dynamic, tension-filled sculpts. This "Cat Edition" focuses on cats tripping over an obstacle while carrying a bowl, perfectly capturing the split second before miso soup splashes everywhere.
Beyond the fluid feline motion, the highlights of these figures include the dynamic depiction of miso soup flying out of the bowl, the impact effect on the floor with the sound effect "GAH!" carved near the cat's foot, and the cat's tail instantly shooting up. All these details are faithfully rendered with a comic-book-like exaggeration, creating a blend of impact and charm that makes you want to laugh and sympathize at the same time. The original illustrations were created by Chairo Nakajima.
