BANDAI's Movie Monster Series is giving fans an early glimpse at their latest release: the "Godzilla (2026) First Look Ver." sofubi, hailing from the upcoming film "Godzilla -0.0"! This exciting new figure is slated for release on July 25, 2026.
"Godzilla -0.0" is the newest Godzilla film from Japan's renowned special effects studio, Toho. Serving as the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed and award-winning 2023 hit "Godzilla -1.0," the recently released teaser trailer has already sent shockwaves through the fandom. It features glimpses of returning key characters, unsettling scenes of houses suspended mid-air, and a jaw-dropping shot of Godzilla alongside the Statue of Liberty – leaving fans buzzing with anticipation about the film's plot and scale!
The "Godzilla (2026) First Look Ver." boasts significant design differences compared to the 2023 Godzilla -1.0 sofubi. This new iteration showcases a much more robust and stocky physique, with sharper, more intricate skin textures across its entire body. Its massive dorsal fins even tower above its head, and the claws feature finely detailed sculpting, demonstrating a remarkable evolution in design in just three short years! As an added bonus, this release features a specially designed tag and comes with director Takashi Yamazaki's hot-stamped signature. This commemorative collectible is an absolute must-have for any die-hard fan!
