Renowned collectible company MONDO has unveiled a new "Masters of the Universe" themed product set to launch on their official website alongside the opening of the annual San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) — the "Panthor Flocked Limited Edition" 1/6 scale articulated figure. Priced at $525, this figure is limited to just 500 units. Pre-orders are scheduled to open exclusively on the MONDO SHOP website on July 22, 2026, at 10 AM CT. It will also be available for purchase concurrently at MONDO's booth #5137 in Hall G at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), held from July 23-26 at the San Diego Convention Center!
Skeletor's most loyal steed, Panthor, is canonically the evil counterpart to He-Man's Battle Cat. He first appeared in the third wave of the classic 1984 toy line. Similar to Battle Cat, Mattel's production team reused the tiger mold previously seen in the Big Jim series, repainting it to save costs. They added a saddle, omitted Battle Cat's helmet, and applied flocking technology to give him a fur-like texture, visually distinguishing him from Battle Cat.
This Panthor Flocked Limited Edition 1/6 scale articulated figure stands approximately 30 cm tall and measures about 45 cm long. It appears to build upon previous releases by adding the flocked texture, a direct homage to the classic toy. The sculpting meticulously captures Panthor's lean musculature, while his fierce eyes and gaping maw are exquisitely reproduced. The fuzzy material elevates the overall visual appeal! Accessories once again include a bronze-colored helmet, a saddle, and front leg armor. Fully armored, he looks incredibly imposing and is definitely meant to be displayed alongside the previously released Skeletor!
