As the annual San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) approaches, renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has revealed a new addition to their "Masters of the Universe 200X" (MOTU200X) line: a 1/12 scale Keldor action figure. Priced at $115, pre-orders will open exclusively on the MONDO SHOP official website on July 22, 2026, at 10 AM CT. The first 1,500 pre-orders are expected to ship in October 2026, with subsequent orders shipping in February 2027.
In the mini-comics included with the 1980s "Masters of the Universe" toys, Keldor was only mentioned in dialogue as King Randor's long-lost brother. It wasn't until the 2002 animated reboot series that fans learned he was ostracized for being a blue-skinned Gar, viewing King Randor as his mortal enemy. Ultimately, Keldor was disfigured by acid during a battle and, after seeking help from Evil-Lyn, transformed into the fearsome Skeletor.
This 1/12 scale Keldor action figure stands approximately 19.05 cm (7.5 inches) tall. The body appears to reuse the previously released Skeletor base body, showcasing incredibly sculpted, lean musculature. The cross-skull emblem on the chest armor has been removed, leaving only the previous armor and battle skirt design. The head sculpt, meticulously crafted to reflect his animated appearance, faithfully recreates his look before transforming into Skeletor! Also included is a purple fabric cape with hidden wires along the edges, allowing for dynamic posing.
Accessories include two pairs of interchangeable hands, his Havoc Staff (ram's head staff), a double-bladed sword that can separate into two individual blades, an evil grinning head sculpt, and a snarling head sculpt. Furthermore, it comes with an acid vial and an alternate head sculpt depicting his face partially melted by acid, allowing collectors to recreate the iconic disfigurement scene with the included display stand.
