With Christopher Nolan's epic adaptation "The Odyssey" set for its official release this Friday, a few opportunistic knock-offs are also hitting the market. Two weeks ago, The Asylum, a studio known for its low-budget B-movies, released its own bare-bones version of "The Odyssey." Now, AI film production company Fountain 0 has announced it will also be releasing another "Odyssey" movie this month, the AI-generated "Odysseus: The Fall."

"The Fall" runs 135 minutes and was generated entirely using the AI software Kling over a three-month period with a five-figure budget. The film incorporates the likenesses of 12 real people, including a professional actress, several models, Fountain 0's Executive Chairman Tom Rogers, and some individuals outside the entertainment industry. The face of the protagonist, Odysseus, is based on the director, Ash Koosha. All individuals who licensed their likeness will receive a share of the film's distribution profits.
"The Fall" is scheduled to be available for online rental and purchase on Fountain 0's official website by the end of this month. In an interview, Rogers claimed that many people might not be interested in Nolan's "The Odyssey" or simply dislike going to theaters, but are curious about the trend of artificial intelligence. Rogers confidently stated that he believes "The Fall" will serve as a catalyst, sparking interest in people who otherwise wouldn't have gone to see "The Odyssey."
