Australian artist Ashley Wood's designer toy brand, Underverse, has announced the upcoming release of the "DIRTY DEEDS BERTIE MK9" as an SDCC 2026 exclusive limited edition. Priced at $350 USD, this highly anticipated collectible is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide.
The "Bertie" robot is one of the most iconic characters from Ashley Wood's "World War Robot" (WWR) universe, renowned for its rugged industrial design and extensive articulation. This particular iteration features the signature color scheme of the Dirty Deeds faction, complete with a distressed finish that perfectly captures a battle-hardened, combat-worn aesthetic.
Standing approximately 33cm tall, the figure boasts an impressive 104 points of articulation. This includes full shoulder movement, double-jointed elbows, a rotating torso, individually articulated fingers, and functional opening front and rear hatches. The SDCC exclusive also comes with two unique accessories: a weathered balaclava and a machete, making them the standout features of this limited release.
