The iconic "Rocky" boxing film series celebrates the 50th anniversary of its first installment this year. Seizing the opportunity, Amazon and MGM Studios are set to release "I Play Rocky," a film chronicling the behind-the-scenes creation of "Rocky," during the lucrative Thanksgiving holiday season.
The film is directed by Peter Farrelly, known for the "Dumb and Dumber" series and "Green Book." Peter Gamble, co-writer of "Office Uprising," penned the screenplay. "I Play Rocky" is slated for a November 20 release in North America, marking the 50th anniversary of the original film's world premiere in New York.
