Production on Netflix's new reboot of the classic romantic comedy "13 Going on 30," originally starring Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner, began last month in Los Angeles, but the full cast list is still rolling out. Today, Deadline revealed that Jessica Alba has officially joined the ensemble. Details about her character and the film's plot are currently being kept under wraps.

Alba joins a cast that includes Adeline Rudolph, the German-Korean actress who recently appeared as Kitana in "Mortal Kombat 2." The film's leads are Logan Lerman (pictured above), known for the "Percy Jackson" movie series, and Emily Bader, who gained prominence for her role in "People We Meet on Vacation."

The film is being directed by Brett Haley, who recently worked with Bader on "People We Meet on Vacation." The screenplay is penned by Flora Greeson, the writer behind "The High Note."

Additionally, Jennifer Garner, the star of the original film, will return to serve as an executive producer. She held the same title last year for the stage musical adaptation of the story.
