Danish toy brand LEGO has officially unveiled its latest flagship offering for the NINJAGO series, the "71872 Ultra Dragon Battle" set. This impressive build is slated for release on August 1, 2026, with an MSRP of $199.99 and a total of 2,178 pieces.
This set stands as the largest among the three releases in the Duskfall storyline, recreating the epic final battle scene. It features a colossal four-headed dragon facing off against the Devourer, the evil serpent king emerging from beneath the rugged terrain. When displayed side-by-side, both main models create a truly imposing visual spectacle.
The mighty dragon boasts extensive articulation, with its heads, necks, jaws, tail, wings, arms, and claws all flexibly adjustable. The Devourer's neck and jaw are also poseable, ensuring the entire confrontation scene is filled with dynamic tension. The dragon can be removed from its display base for interactive play, making it the most substantial display piece among this wave of three NINJAGO sets.
The set includes four minifigures: Jin, Mira, Nate, and the Oni General, allowing fans to recreate the complete lineup from the Duskfall final battle.
Other sets in the same series, including the "71870 Twin Titanium Mech" ($139.99, 1,707 pieces) and the "71871 Dragon Blade Battle" ($99.99, 1,016 pieces), will also be released simultaneously on August 1, 2026.
