Liam Neeson, known for his consistent output of low-budget action films, is set to release his latest, "The Mongoose," this fall, and the first trailer officially dropped today. While "The Mongoose" might initially appear to be another standard, fast-paced Neeson action flick, it holds a unique significance for the actor. This film marks the feature directorial debut of Mark Vanselow, Neeson's long-time stunt double, with whom he has collaborated since the 1999 film "The Haunting."

Directed by Vanselow from a script by Thompson Evans ("Buried in Barstow"), "The Mongoose" also stars Marisa Tomei, Michael Chiklis, and Ving Rhames alongside Neeson. The film is slated for a North American release on October 30.

The official synopsis describes a war hero falsely accused of a crime. With nothing left to lose, he enlists the help of former comrades and sympathetic citizens hoping for his escape, embarking on a nationwide car chase against law enforcement.
