Globally renowned for her starring roles in the "Wonder Woman" franchise and "The Fast Saga," Gal Gadot has largely been known for her action-hero persona on screen since her rise to fame. However, she has recently begun to diversify her roles, first by portraying the villainous "Evil Queen" in the live-action "Snow White," and then exploring a more dramatic path last month in "In the Hand of Dante."

Next up, Gadot takes on the role of a lawyer in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video crime thriller "The Runner," set to premiere this September. With no combat or espionage skills, her character is forced to race across London, following a mysterious caller's instructions to save her kidnapped son. The film's first trailer and key art (pictured above) were released recently, with "The Runner" scheduled to officially launch on Amazon's streaming platform Prime Video on September 2.
"The Runner" is directed by Kevin Macdonald, known for "The Last King of Scotland," and features a screenplay penned by Mark Gibson, writer of "Snow Dogs." Joining the cast is Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actor Damian Lewis.
