Danish toy brand LEGO has officially revealed the latest addition to its Technic series: the "42234 Dodge Viper GTS-R." This new set is slated for release on August 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of $64.99 USD, comprising 805 pieces.

The Dodge Viper GTS-R is a legendary vehicle that dominated racetracks throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Renowned for its raw "American Muscle" character, it housed an over 8-liter V10 engine, delivering immense power and a distinctive, guttural roar. This iconic car secured multiple victories in the GT class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, solidifying its status as one of the most representative symbols of American sports car culture. While Dodge has since discontinued the Viper, the legacy of this legendary racer remains etched in the hearts of car enthusiasts worldwide.

The LEGO Technic rendition, built from 805 bricks, faithfully captures the Viper GTS-R's aggressive, low-slung, wide-body design. It features several movable mechanical structures: lifting the hood reveals a detailed V10 engine complete with working pistons, paired with a differential transmission system that accurately represents the powertrain of this V10 beast. Both the hood and doors are openable, and the striking large rear spoiler is also meticulously recreated.

Another set in the same series, the "42235 Ferrari 488 Pista" ($64.99 USD, 882 pieces), will also be released concurrently on August 1, 2026.
