Good Smile Company, the Japanese manufacturer behind the affordable POP UP PARADE pre-painted figure brand, is expanding its larger L size series with a new release from the popular anime "DARLING in the FRANXX." Fans can look forward to the "Zero Two L size" non-scale pre-painted figure, priced at 8,800 JPY and slated for release in December 2026.
The 2018 TV anime "DARLING in the FRANXX," co-produced by TRIGGER and A-1 Pictures, is set in a distant, over-developed future where humanity relies on "FranXX" humanoid combat mechs to battle semi-mechanical lifeforms known as "Klaxosaurs," which are drawn to the new energy source, magma fuel. The story follows Hiro, a boy who loses his ability to pilot a FranXX after a failed mission, only for his fate to change with the arrival of a mysterious girl named Zero Two.
