Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero is launching a new product in its small-scale vehicle model series: the "Blade Runner 2049 K's Spinner (3.7'') Weathered Edition" die-cast model car, based on the cyberpunk film sequel "Blade Runner 2049"! Pricing and release date are yet to be announced.

The 1982 film "Blade Runner" was adapted from Philip K. Dick's 1968 novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?". Its 2017 sequel, "Blade Runner 2049," is set 32 years after the original. Following the collapse of major corporations, the latest generation of Replicant detective K, while working as a "Blade Runner" to hunt down rogue artificial humans, unexpectedly discovers a child born from a human and a Replicant, left behind by Deckard, prompting him to investigate.

This "Blade Runner 2049 K's Spinner (3.7'') Weathered Edition" utilizes the same mold as the standard version released last year. Measuring approximately 9.4 cm long, the model features a die-cast zinc alloy chassis, enhancing both structural integrity and overall heft. The sculpt faithfully recreates the Spinner's more futuristic design details compared to the first film. Its gull-wing doors open vertically, revealing a meticulously detailed interior, and the rear wheels also feature an extendable design, allowing collectors to replicate the Spinner's flight mode. The most significant difference in this new release lies in threezero's exquisite weathering paint application on the vehicle body. It meticulously reproduces the iconic, orange dust-covered appearance of K's Spinner after enduring a sandstorm on his journey to find Deckard, offering a completely distinct visual from the previous version!
