Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios are actively developing new "Ben 10" projects, which may be more than just a simple reboot.

In a recent interview with The Wrap, studio president Sam Register confirmed that "new versions of 'Ben 10' are currently in active development." His emphasis on "multiple versions" has fueled speculation that Warner Bros. might be simultaneously developing several different iterations of the franchise.
The news comes as "Ben 10" prepares to make its return to Comic-Con International: San Diego on July 24, 2026, marking the franchise's first appearance at the event since 2018. Co-creator Duncan Rouleau further amplified fan anticipation by teasing on social media that the team would unveil "very significant" news later this year.

Notably, Warner Bros. Animation has increasingly focused on producing content for external platforms in recent years. Recent examples include "Batman: Caped Crusader" and new installments of "The Amazing World of Gumball," which premiered on Prime Video and Hulu, respectively. This trend suggests that even if a new "Ben 10" project is officially unveiled, Cartoon Network may no longer be its exclusive broadcast home.
