With just two and a half months until its release, the new live-action "Street Fighter" film, distributed by Paramount Skydance Productions and produced by Legendary Pictures, has dropped a surprise sneak peek tonight. The clip features a thrilling showdown between Jason Momoa as Blanka and Andrew Koji as Ryu.
The star-studded cast also includes rapper 50 Cent as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Noah Centineo as Ken, WWE superstar Roman Reigns as Akuma, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, pro wrestler Cody Rhodes as Guile, and Eric André as Don Sauvage, the Ring Announcer, among others.

The new "Street Fighter" live-action movie is directed by Kitao Sakurai, known for the Netflix comedy "Bad Trip," and features a screenplay penned by Dalan Musson, writer for "Captain America: Brave New World." The film is slated for an October 16 release.
Additionally, the official synopsis has been released: Set in 1993, estranged friends Ryu and Ken are recruited by the mysterious Chun-Li to participate in the next World Warrior Tournament. However, a deadly conspiracy behind the tournament will ignite their rivalry and force them to confront their past demons, threatening to end everything if they fail to overcome them.
