The untitled sci-fi film from "Everything Everywhere All at Once" Oscar-winning directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, which has been in development for nearly four years, has another new cast member in talks to join: veteran actor John Leguizamo, who recently appeared in the new film "The Odyssey."
Interestingly, the film's lead is Matt Damon, who starred as Odysseus in "The Odyssey." Leguizamo played Odysseus' loyal servant Eumaeus in the same movie, setting up a reunion for the on-screen master and servant duo.

In addition to Damon and Leguizamo, previously confirmed cast members include Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh, Michael Gandolfini, Sean Kaufman, and Charles Melton.
The story reportedly incorporates elements of global warming, time travel, and potential superhero themes. The film will feature two distinct storylines—one set in the 1980s and another in the present day. The protagonists will be a group of teenagers, or at least the '80s storyline will center on teen characters. While the movie remains untitled, it is scheduled for a Thanksgiving release on November 19 of next year. Kwan and Scheinert have described the project as an "existential" sci-fi action-comedy, similar in tone to "Everything Everywhere All at Once."
