Danish toy brand LEGO has officially unveiled its latest Star Wars series product, the "75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn." This new set recreates the desert adventure from the first season of "Star Wars: The Mandalorian," where the Mandalorian and Kuiil encounter the Jawas. Comprising 1,683 bricks, the set is priced at $199.99 and was released on August 1, 2026.
This set is themed around the events of "Chapter 2: The Child" from the first season of "Star Wars: The Mandalorian." It depicts the Mandalorian's journey with Kuiil to negotiate with the Jawas to retrieve his scavenged ship parts. The Jawas ultimately demand a Mudhorn egg in exchange, leading to a fierce battle where the Mudhorn's unexpected power nearly overwhelms the Mandalorian. This particular scene is one of the most memorable moments from the first season, notably marking Grogu's first public display of the Force.
The biggest surprise in this set lies in its minifigure lineup. Kuiil makes a long-awaited return as a LEGO minifigure, having last appeared in the 2021 "75331 The Razor Crest" set. For the first time, the Jawas are presented in a new gray color scheme, distinguishing them from previous brown versions and faithfully recreating the appearance of the offworld Jawas seen in "The Mandalorian" Season 1. Also included are a Mandalorian minifigure with mud-splattered armor and a Grogu minifigure.
The main build of the set, the Sandcrawler, features a predominantly gray color scheme. Two knobs at the rear control the vehicle's steering and the opening/closing of the front hatch. Inside, it boasts a detailed cockpit and a main cargo hold, complete with scene-specific accessories like a droid parts box and blue cookies. The set also includes an articulated brick-built Mudhorn figure and a Mudhorn egg, faithfully recreating key props from the show.
Other sets in the same series include "75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT and INT-4" and "75459 Imperial Lambda-class Shuttle." Together, these three sets form the most comprehensive LEGO collection from "The Mandalorian" universe.
