Danish toy brand LEGO has officially unveiled its latest BrickHeadz series product, "40919 Gizmo and Stripe." This set includes the adorable Mogwai, Gizmo, and the dangerous antagonist, Stripe, in one box, utilizing 230 bricks. It is priced at $24.99 and is scheduled for release on September 1, 2026.
"Gremlins" is a 1984 American horror-comedy film produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Joe Dante. It's widely known for its three rules for owning a Mogwai: never expose it to bright light, never get it wet, and never feed it after midnight. Breaking these rules causes the adorable Mogwai, Gizmo, to spawn evil Gremlins, leading to a series of hilarious and chaotic events. It remains one of the most iconic classic films of the 1980s.
This BrickHeadz set features the two most iconic characters from the film. Gizmo is depicted in a smaller scale, showcasing his brown and white fur, round eyes, and large ears spread out to the sides. He's even holding popcorn, perfectly capturing the lovable Mogwai's most endearing look. The evil Gremlin, Stripe, appears in a taller form, with his distinctive white mohawk, red eyes, green skin, and body stripes, recreating his menacing transformed appearance. The skateboard in his hand also echoes the chaotic and mischievous spirit of the Gremlins as they wreak havoc in the movie.
This isn't the first time LEGO has released "Gremlins" licensed products. In 2016, the LEGO Dimensions accessory pack featured mini-figure versions of Gizmo and Stripe. In 2025, LEGO Ideas "21361 Gizmo" also appeared as a large-scale articulated model.
