To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic anime series "Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!!", Japanese luxury jeweler U-TREASURE is releasing a trio of stunning 18K gold Mini 4WD collectibles. The lineup features miniaturized solid gold versions of Go Seiba's "Magnum Saber", Retsu Seiba's "Sonic Saber", and Tokichi Mikuni's "Spin Axe". Pre-orders are now open and will close on August 31, 2026, with shipping scheduled for around January 20, 2027. Each piece is priced at a hefty ¥440,000 (tax included) and is strictly limited to 30 units each.
"Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!!", created by Tetsuhiro Koshita, is the beloved anime series centered around the TAMIYA Mini 4WD racing phenomenon. First airing in 1996, the show ignited a global Mini 4WD craze, leaving a lasting impression on countless 90s kids who grew up idolizing Go's Magnum Saber and Retsu's Sonic Saber. Now, for the anime's 30th anniversary, U-TREASURE has secured its first-ever license for the franchise, paying tribute to the classic series in the most luxurious way imaginable.
All three models were produced under the official supervision of TAMIYA. U-TREASURE's master jewelers have combined traditional handcrafting with modern digital technology to meticulously recreate the body, chassis, rear wing, and even the original sticker designs in 18K gold, all within a compact frame of approximately 2cm in length. The body and chassis are crafted as separate components and then permanently joined, a process that allows for a level of detail impossible with single-piece casting. Each model is fine-tuned to a precision of 0.1mm to ensure perfect accuracy.
The three featured models are:
Magnum Saber
Go Seiba's original machine and the car that started it all in "Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!!". Its iconic body silhouette is captured in 18K gold, evoking the legendary machine that thrilled countless children back in the day.
Sonic Saber
Retsu Seiba's first car, a perfect counterpart to the Magnum Saber. Its signature wide rear wing and sharp design are finely reproduced in gold, with the 18K luster further enhancing the Sonic Saber's appeal.
Spin Axe
Tokichi Mikuni's signature machine, its curvaceous and highly individual design makes it the most unique of the trio. The model captures the impressive form of the car as it executes its famous "Lightning Drift."
Each model comes with a special display case made of wood and acrylic, along with a gold-plated certificate of authenticity designed to mimic the original Mini 4WD packaging. The certificate is printed with a unique serial number, further emphasizing the exclusive nature of this 30-piece limited edition run.
