A recent screening of the Marvel film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" in Cartagena, Colombia, was abruptly interrupted when an unbearable stench filled the theater, forcing dozens of moviegoers to cover their noses and rush out into the hallway. A performer dressed as Spider-Man even had to step in to calm and entertain the affected audience members.
The incident occurred on August 2, 2026, at the Cine Colombia theater inside the Plaza Bocagrande shopping center. According to foreign media reports, the chaos was allegedly caused by an exceptionally foul-smelling flatulence released by an audience member during the screening. However, some also suspect a prankster deliberately deployed a stink bomb. Neither theory has been confirmed, and the identity of the culprit remains unknown.

Some joked that only God knew what the person had eaten, while others, mimicking J. Jonah Jameson, exclaimed, "That man is a menace!"
