Good Smile Company Unveils First Look at Reincarnation Saber Alter huke Ver. Model Kit Development Sample!

Japanese model manufacturer Good Smile Company has unveiled the first development sample for its new "Saber Alter huke Ver." from "Fate/stay night," joining the "Reincarnation" series, which transforms classic PVC scale figures into model kits. The release date is currently undecided.

Artoria's Alter form, known as Saber Alter (or Black Saber), first appeared in the "Heaven's Feel" route of "Fate/stay night." Absorbed by Sakura Matou, who became the "Black Grail," her body was corrupted by "All the Evils of the World." This manifested her past doubts, self-reproach, and rage, transforming her into a cold, formidable tyrant, even turning her Holy Sword into a Demonic Sword. Linked to Sakura Matou as the Grail, Saber Alter possesses nearly infinite magical energy, allowing her to continuously unleash the black-tinged "Excalibur Morgan."

The origin of this new product traces back to the acclaimed "Saber Alter huke Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure," a PVC finished product released in 2016. Popular Japanese illustrator huke provided the original artwork, which sculptor kiking faithfully brought to life. The figure perfectly captures huke's vision: a face blending an ominous aura with ethereal beauty, a slender and pale physique, and black armor with an alien-like silhouette and rough texture, distinct from the original design. Combined with a sharp base of the same material as the armor, it exudes an imposing, dominant presence.

The newly announced "Reincarnation Saber Alter huke Ver." utilizes 3D modeling and metal mold technologies for reverse engineering. While maintaining the original PVC figure's sculpt, each part has been redesigned for color separation and assembly structure, allowing collectors to personally build the main body of this iconic Saber Alter masterpiece.
