Japanese figure manufacturer Max Factory has announced the commercialization of "Shielder/Mash Kyrielight [Paladin] Layproof Edition" from the popular mobile game "Fate/Grand Order," and has unveiled its developing prototype for the first time.
Shielder/Paladin is the new class awakened by the protagonist Mash Kyrielight in the story "Chapter IV: The Human Judgment Court." After Mash realizes her reason for existing as a human and a Guardian, and bids farewell to the Round Table Knight Heroic Spirit Galahad, who once saved her life, her combat style and characteristics are no longer influenced by Galahad's Spirit Origin. Her massive Round Table Shield transforms into a new, silver form, allowing her to unleash powerful Noble Phantasms such as the highly defensive "Shield of Rousing Hope" and the "Sword of Proving Hope," which transforms her shield into a Humanity Observation Cannon. With her own power, she truly becomes a knight protecting Chaldea.
The "figma Shielder/Mash Kyrielight [Paladin] Layproof Edition" utilizes a completely new sculpt to recreate her Paladin form, clad in silver armor, along with her massive "Round Table Shield." The Layproof Edition further includes the "Sword of Proving Hope," the Humanity Observation Cannon formed from her transformed Round Table Shield. Collectors can look forward to how the final product will recreate her dynamic shooting poses using this colossal weapon.
