Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya is set to release the latest addition to its popular "Arcanadea" bishoujo plastic model kit series, known for its captivating fantasy designs and sci-fi backdrops. The new kit, "Lumitea First Engage Ver.," is scheduled for release in January 2027!
Designed by illustrator necömi, Lumitea is a light-attribute angel-type DEARS. She possesses an optimistic, cheerful, and kind personality, though she struggles somewhat with controlling her magic. Having seemingly lost her past memories, her sole recollection is her mission to recover Arcanadea crystals.
The "Lumitea First Engage Ver." is an upgraded model kit from Kotobukiya, launched in conjunction with the upcoming game "Arcanadea - Gleam Gatherers -" and its TV anime adaptation. This version focuses on easier assembly and a more accessible price point by omitting the interchangeable armed limbs and wings. Significant modifications have also been made to the base body. The kit includes two new anime-style face parts, while the elbow joints have been redesigned with a double-jointed mechanism. The small wings on her back are now larger and feature newly designed ball joints for enhanced articulation. The waist joint has also been revised, and the lower leg parts have transitioned from a left-and-right split to a front-and-back split design. Additionally, the kit comes with a newly sculpted weapon sword and multiple hand parts. Collectors will be pleased to know that it remains compatible with the armed limbs and wings from the previously released standard version of Lumitea! As an added bonus, the product includes an in-game item code for "Arcanadea - Gleam Gatherers -."
