GOOD SMILE COMPANY (GSC) has officially announced a new 1/7 scale figure of Rio Tsukatsuki from the popular mobile game "Blue Archive", with an anticipated release in May 2027!
Tsukatsuki Rio serves as the president of the "Seminar" student council at Millennium Science School, where she is widely known as the "Big Sister." She made her debut in the main story's Vol. 2, "Clockwork Flower Pavane" chapter. During this arc, she secretly diverted public funds to construct a fortress for crisis response and declared her intention to destroy Aris from the Game Development Department, believing it was for the safety of Kivotos. After her defeat, she recognized her errors and was overcome with remorse, subsequently leaving the academy and disappearing. She later made several cameo appearances in various chapters, eventually making her official return to Millennium Science School in the "Ex. Deus Ex Machina" chapter. Rio is a staunch advocate for rationality, though her sense of aesthetics is notoriously poor. Despite her exceptional work capabilities, her personal life skills are practically non-existent. While initially positioned as an antagonist, her striking and mature appearance quickly garnered her immense popularity among players.
The "Rio 1/7 Scale Figure" stands approximately 25.6 cm tall, meticulously recreating her calm and collected standing pose from the game's official artwork. Her hair is intricately sculpted with fine strand details, while her suit jacket paired with a sweater perfectly accentuates her impressive physique. Both the suit and stockings feature delicate color layering and gradients, bringing the varying thickness and textures of each material to life. The figure's base is also adorned with the Millennium Science School emblem and Rio's English name, applied with precision printing technology.
