Action figure manufacturer Killerbody has unveiled its latest product from the live-action "Transformers" film series: an articulated figure of Wheelie. The figure captures his signature blue vehicle shell, exposed mechanical skeleton, and tire-equipped limbs, and is scheduled for release in January 2027 for 5,500 JPY (tax included).
Wheelie is the small, former Decepticon from the "Transformers" movie franchise who transforms into a remote-controlled monster truck. He became a fan favorite for his mischievous, comedic personality and unwavering loyalty to the human protagonists. Despite his small stature, Wheelie often plays a surprisingly crucial role at key moments, serving as one of the films' essential sources of comic relief.
This figure incorporates design elements from his RC monster truck alt-mode, featuring a blue metallic shell over a dark gray mechanical frame. The tires are made from real rubber, and the suspension even includes a functional spring structure. Both the shell and frame are treated with a weathering effect to replicate the dirt and wear seen in the movies. The figure boasts over 50 points of articulation. In addition to adjustable limbs, wheels, and exterior panels, his eyebrows, mouth, and jaw are also posable. Combined with Wheelie's exaggerated teeth and expressive design, you can pose him in a variety of comical scenes, from nervously begging for mercy to chattering endlessly or fleeing in a panic.
By pressing a switch on his head, his eyes will light up for approximately 3 minutes while intermittently emitting mechanical sounds that mimic speech. The extensive facial articulation, combined with the light, sound, and spring suspension features, perfectly captures the talkative and over-the-top personality of this small Transformer.
Also available in the same series are figures of Scalpel and Frenzy. Displaying all three together allows you to recreate iconic confrontation scenes from the "Transformers" films.
