Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz's "The Mummy 4" Adds More Original Cast: Kevin J. O'Connor and Oded Fehr Confirmed to Return

More cast members have been announced for the upcoming fourth installment of "The Mummy," starring returning leads Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. Deadline exclusively revealed that Kevin J. O’Connor and Oded Fehr, who played Beni and Ardeth Bay in the first and second films respectively, are confirmed to reprise their roles. Additionally, German-Turkish actor Numan Acar will join the franchise for the first time.

"The Mummy 4" is slated to begin filming this month and is scheduled for an October 15, 2027 release. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the directing duo behind "Scream" (2022) and "Scream VI," will helm the project. David Coggeshall, co-writer of the "Scream: The TV Series," is penning the screenplay.

Beyond Weisz, Fraser, Fehr, and O'Connor, John Hannah, who portrayed Weisz's brother Jonathan Carnahan in the first three films, was previously confirmed to return.
