Megahouse, a leading Japanese toy company, has announced the latest additions to its popular "LOOK UP" chibi figure series: "LOOK UP Sayaka Sakayori & Kaguya" from the hit anime film "Cosmic Princess Kaguya!" These new figures are slated for release in late March 2027!
The animated film "Cosmic Princess Kaguya!", exclusively streamed on Netflix, made a significant splash earlier this year with its captivating story and numerous Vocaloid song covers. The movie follows Sayaka Sakayori, a young girl living alone and juggling part-time jobs with her studies. Her only solace comes from watching streams by the virtual idol Yachiyo Tsukimi. On the verge of a breakdown, Sayaka discovers a mysterious baby near a utility pole outside her home. The infant rapidly grows into a young girl who claims to be from the moon. Sayaka names her Kaguya, and the two deepen their bond across both the real world and the virtual realm of "Tsukuyomi." However, a mysterious force from the moon soon attempts to reclaim Kaguya…!
Each of the "LOOK UP Sayaka Sakayori & Kaguya" figures stands approximately 11 cm (4.3 inches) tall, faithfully recreating their appearances from the real world with meticulous detail. Sayaka Sakayori is depicted in her high school uniform, while Kaguya sports her signature plain T-shirt and shorts, complete with the golden hair she gained after her first entry into Tsukuyomi. Even her moon bracelet is accurately reproduced. Both figures feature the series' signature articulated neck, allowing collectors to freely adjust their gaze for adorable poses!
