The official synopsis reveals: Young mother Gemma, raising her daughter alone in her childhood home, discovers she can enter "The Further"—the core purgatory of the deceased in the "Insidious" universe. As malevolent forces target her, Gemma realizes she possesses a crucial ability: not only can she enter The Further, but she can also bring its spirits back to reality. Once the demons learn of her supernatural power, our world becomes their playground. The film is slated for an August 21st release in North America.
