Danish toy brand LEGO has officially revealed its 2026 flagship product for the Harry Potter series, the "76476 The Ministry of Magic – Collectors' Edition." This impressive set creates a three-story diorama that spans both the Muggle world and the Ministry of Magic. Featuring 3,491 bricks and including 14 minifigures, the set will retail for $449.99. LEGO Insiders members can get early access starting August 29, 2026, with general availability on September 1.
This release celebrates the 25th anniversary of the "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" film. It recreates key scenes from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" set within the iconic "Ministry of Magic." This marks the sixth installment in the LEGO Harry Potter Collector's Edition series. Previous masterpieces in the series include "Hogwarts Castle," "Diagon Alley," "Hogwarts Express," "Gringotts Wizarding Bank," and "Hogsmeade Village." The Ministry of Magic set is the first in the series to focus on a government institution.
The set connects crucial scenes from the Muggle world and the Ministry of Magic, arranged from top to bottom. The uppermost layer recreates a London street, an underground tube station, a red telephone booth, and a public restroom, complete with an interactive mechanism to "flush" minifigures down into the Ministry below. The middle layer showcases the Ministry's grand yet imposing architectural style with towering green tiled walls, golden elevators, and the central atrium. Inside, you'll find Arthur Weasley's and Dolores Umbridge's offices, the courtroom where Harry faces his disciplinary hearing, and the pivotal scene of Dumbledore's duel with Voldemort. The lowest layer delves into the Department of Mysteries, featuring the Hall of Prophecies with a collapse-triggering mechanism and the archway where Sirius Black falls, allowing the entire model to extend from an everyday entrance all the way to the most dramatic and tragic moments of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
The biggest minifigure highlight in this set is the debut of Arabella Figg as a LEGO minifigure, the Squib who testified on Harry's behalf at his hearing in the film. Another brand-new character is Antonin Dolohov. In total, the set includes 14 minifigures, featuring Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Sirius Black, Mad-Eye Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, Arthur Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Dolores Umbridge, Voldemort, and Lucius Malfoy. Additionally, a brand-new Lynx Patronus, created for the LEGO Harry Potter 25th Anniversary, is included, adding another exclusive collectible highlight to this massive diorama.
While this set utilizes a more depth-saving, facade-style structure, it still manages to pack a wealth of rooms, interactive features, and movie Easter eggs across its three levels.
