Kotobukiya, the Japanese model kit manufacturer, has announced the latest addition to its popular "Frame Arms Girl" series: the "Durga I (Bunny Style)", slated for release in January 2027.
The Frame Arms Girl "Durga I" is based on the "NSG-Z0/E Durga I," a base defense unit from the lunar base faction in Kotobukiya's original "Frame Arms" model kit line. Reimagined as a bishoujo by Eiji Komatsu, this version retains the heavy, armored knight aesthetic and lance-wielding design. It also features the same voluptuous body sculpt as Magatsuki, creating a striking contrast that enhances its appeal.
The new "Durga I (Bunny Style)" features a redesigned, sexy yet adorable bunny girl outfit. This model kit reimagines a previously KOTOBUKIYA SHOP-exclusive bunny suit resin kit, now in full plastic model kit form. Most parts, including the hair, bunny ears, and body, are newly sculpted. The kit utilizes pre-colored plastic to capture the fair skin tone, the texture of the outfit, and the sheen of the stockings. The base body boasts highly articulated features like pull-out shoulder and thigh joints, and a sliding hip joint, allowing for a wide range of dynamic, sexy, and cute poses.
Accessories include three pre-painted face parts—a "smiling face," a "winking face," and a "flustered face"—along with waterslide decals for eye patterns to create custom expressions on blank face parts. For the head, builders can choose between three types of bunny ear parts: standard, mechanical, or no bunny ears. An additional set of rubber bunny ears is also included, compatible with other separately sold Kotobukiya bishoujo model kits. Furthermore, the chest parts come in three interchangeable sizes (small, medium, and large), allowing collectors to customize their preferred look.
