As "The Mummy 4" gears up for its official shoot, news of familiar faces returning has been buzzing, and the latest confirmed addition is veteran actor Arnold Vosloo, who famously portrayed the villainous Imhotep.
John Hannah, who played Rachel Weisz's brother Jonathan in the first three installments, recently revealed Vosloo's return during an interview with Italian magazine Ciak. Hannah stated, "Brendan [Fraser] and I are the only ones who have been in all four films, but everyone will be back for the fourth installment, and there will be some surprises. Arnold Vosloo will also return; we are very good friends. He currently lives in Cape Town, South Africa, and is preparing to sign his contract there."

"The Mummy 4" is slated to begin principal photography this month, with a release date set for October 15, 2027. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the directing duo behind "Scream" (2022) and "Scream VI," are taking the helm. David Coggeshall, co-writer of "Scream: The TV Series," is penning the screenplay.
The confirmed cast for this installment includes returning stars Weisz, Fraser, Hannah, Kevin J. O’Connor as Beni, and Oded Fehr as Ardeth Bay. New faces joining the ensemble are German-Turkish actor Numan Acar and rising star Michael Johnston, who recently gained recognition for his lead role in the hit horror film "Obsession."
