To commemorate the upcoming "TAMASHII NATION 2026" brand exhibition, scheduled for November 13-15, 2026, BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division has announced the latest addition to their popular METAL BUILD alloy figure series. The "God Gundam (Meikyo Shisui)" from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" is set to release in November 2026.
The GF13-017NJII God Gundam is the latest mobile fighter developed solely by Dr. Mikamura. Serving as the successor to protagonist Domon Kasshu's previous unit, the Shining Gundam, it shares many similar performance characteristics and armaments. It features the "Energy Multiplier System," which converts Domon's fighting spirit (Ki) into energy. Once Domon masters the "Meikyo Shisui" technique, the God Gundam can transform into its true "Hyper Mode" form, glowing with golden light across its entire body. This transformation significantly boosts its performance, with the six radiator fins on its back forming a halo that generates a magnetic coating. Its hands can unleash the powerful "Bakunetsu God Finger," a devastating special attack that concentrates ultra-high energy into a single point.
The "METAL BUILD God Gundam (Meikyo Shisui)" is based on the previously released standard version. This commemorative edition features a complete repaint and electroplating treatment across all its plastic and die-cast parts, utilizing multiple shades of gold to create a layered, detailed finish on its joints and armor. This stunning new color scheme perfectly recreates the shining, golden aura that envelops the unit when "Hyper Mode" is activated.
Beyond its highly flexible articulation, which allows for dynamic combat poses, the figure also features an opening chest armor mechanism and a back-mounted halo effect part to depict its "Hyper Mode" activation. It comes with "God Slash" beam saber effect parts and translucent orange hand parts for the "Bakunetsu God Finger" special move, allowing collectors to recreate powerful battle stances. The display stand has also been updated with a new orange-red molded color and hot-stamped gold foil pattern, evoking the imagery of burning flames.
