Following the release of protagonist Yuru, SEGA's popular Luminasta prize figure series has announced the latest addition from the popular anime and manga series "Yomi no Tsugai": the "Luminasta Uyu" figure, set for release in January 2027! The corresponding "Luminasta Saya" figure was also revealed.
Created by renowned manga artist Hiromu Arakawa, "Yomi no Tsugai" tells the story of twins born in the village of Higashimurayama, one at dawn and one at dusk. They possess the qualification to wield the mysterious powers of "Seal and Release," triggering a battle involving their Tsugai (servants/emissaries). The "Sayo-sama" (Right and Left) are a pair of these Tsugai, originally appearing as two stone statues, each possessing the ability to control Seal and Release. Though they were originally meant to be held by a third party outside the twins, circumstances led them to become the Tsugai of Yuru, the elder brother who possesses the power of Seal. Uyu is depicted as a red-haired, muscular man. Despite his rugged appearance, he possesses an unexpectedly delicate side. He can transform into a golden, glowing beast and is referred to by Saya as "the one on the right."
The "Luminasta Uyu" perfectly recreates Uyu's rugged, rock-solid physique. The pose captures him mid-action, about to unleash his signature special move, "Roar," showcasing excellent dynamic sculpting. His facial sculpt accurately portrays Uyu's confident and imposing demeanor, while the edges of his flowing red hair are rendered with impressive sharpness!
