Japanese model manufacturer Kaiyodo is set to release their latest product based on the "Hatsune Miku" series: the "Hatsune Miku Seiryu Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure". It will retail for 27,500 JPY and is scheduled for pre-order on Kaiyodo's official online store starting August 17, 2026, with an estimated release date in September 2027.
Kaiyodo's "Hatsune Miku Seiryu Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure" draws inspiration from popular illustrator Su An Lily's (苏安Lily) "Seiryu" themed Hatsune Miku artwork. The figure masterfully recreates the mysterious atmosphere of Miku as the Azure Dragon, descending upon a clear mountain lake as depicted in the original illustration, exuding an aura of profound mystique and ethereal beauty. Beyond the intricate sculpting and rich accessory details, the paint application features stunning gradients and pearlescent finishes. Miku's signature green twin-tails boast beautiful gradients, while the dragon tail and horns showcase a deep pearlescent blue, complemented by golden accents on her outfit, all contributing to a premium aesthetic.
Her long, well-proportioned legs, combined with a tall, slender body ratio, create an exceptionally elegant and stylish silhouette. The black and white high-slit cheongsam-style dress offers distinct visual appeal when viewed from both the front and back. The base, designed to mimic gently rippling water, perfectly accentuates Miku's light, floating posture and flowing grace as if she's hovering just above the surface.
