Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY is expanding its "Nendoroid Doll" series, known for its low-head-to-body ratio and real fabric outfits, with a new release from the popular anime "K-ON!". The latest addition is Hirasawa Yui, priced at 9,800 JPY, and slated for release in May 2027!
"K-ON!" (けいおん!), a flagship title from Houbunsha, originated as a four-panel manga by Japanese artist kakifly. Kyoto Animation adapted it into a TV anime in 2009. The story follows protagonist Yui Hirasawa, who mistakenly joins the Light Music Club thinking "light music" meant "easy music," and chronicles the fun, everyday lives of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club members.
This Nendoroid Doll Hirasawa Yui stands approximately 14 cm tall. Her head sculpt reuses the previously released Nendoroid version, but features a newly printed confident smile expression. The outfit, crafted from finely tailored fabric, meticulously recreates the Sakuragaoka High School uniform, including her black blazer, pleated skirt, and black stockings. Even the blue bow tie on her chest is delicately reproduced. Furthermore, her leather shoes feature magnetic soles, allowing for stable posing on the included dedicated base to recreate various adorable scenes from the series!
