BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize figure brand has announced the latest "Sayaka Miki" figure from the popular anime series "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" and its upcoming theatrical sequel, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-". This new collectible is slated for release on August 25, 2026!
Debuting in 2011, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" caused a sensation within the industry, pioneering the dark and gritty magical girl trend that dominated for over a decade. The classic "three-episode rule" also originated from this series. "Walpurgisnacht: Rising" continues the story from the previous film, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: Rebellion," and marks the first new theatrical film in the "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" series in nearly 13 years!
Sayaka Miki, standing approximately 20 cm tall, appears in her brand-new theatrical film design. Her outfit, based on her original look, now features numerous golden accents, and her cape has transformed into a flowing, fishtail-like shape, seemingly echoing her witch form, Oktavia von Seckendorff. Her face is largely covered by pink bandages, with only her right eye visible, and the sock on her left leg has also been replaced with bandages. The figure beautifully captures the flowing movement of her attire and can be displayed alongside the simultaneously released Mami Tomoe, Homura Akemi, Kyoko Sakura, and Madoka Kaname figures!
