The "PLAMATEA" character model kit series, jointly developed by Japanese model makers Good Smile Company and Max Factory, has announced its latest product, "Shishioh Guy" from the anime "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar," slated for release in April 2027.
The protagonist, Shishioh Guy, who pilots GaoGaiGar, was once the youngest 17-year-old astronaut in history. However, during his first mission, he was caught in an attack on Earth by the machine lifeform "EI-01." Severely wounded and near death, he was rescued and brought back to Earth by the mechanical lion "Galeon." Guy's injuries were too severe to heal naturally, so his father, Lio Shishioh, used technology derived from analyzing Galeon's structure to transform Guy into a "G-Stone Cyborg." From then on, Guy gained superhuman physical abilities and the power to "Fusion" with Galeon for combat.
The "PLAMATEA Shishioh Guy" model kit recreates Guy in his fully modified "Cyborg Guy" form. The kit utilizes multiple pre-colored parts and some pre-painted parts, allowing for a significant recreation of his appearance from the show with a straight build. Standing approximately 16 cm tall, the figure boasts a cool, slender physique, refined metallic armor designs, and flexible articulation. Two hair parts are included, allowing you to display him with his hair down or in his dynamic battle-ready style.
The kit comes with two interchangeable face plates: a "smiling" expression and a "shouting" expression. Alternatively, you can use the included unpainted face parts and eye decals to create your own custom expressions. His weapon, the "Will Knife," is included, and its blade can be stored in the GaoBrace by swapping out parts. The hatch on his left chest can also be displayed in an open state using interchangeable parts.
