Japanese toy brand T-ARTS, a division of TAKARA TOMY Company, has announced a new "Peanuts" themed product: the "I LIKE… Snoopy Plush Mini Charms" blind box series. Each box will retail for 1,650 JPY and is slated for an August 2026 release!
Created by American cartoonist Charles Schulz, "Peanuts" began its serialization in 1950. Breaking away from the prevalent hero-centric narratives of its time, the comic strip depicted the everyday lives of ordinary child Charlie Brown, his friends, and his beloved pet Snoopy. At its peak, "Peanuts" was published in 21 languages across 75 countries, becoming a classic comic strip that profoundly influenced American culture.
The new "I LIKE… Snoopy Plush Mini Charms" are released as a blind box series. Each charm measures approximately 7 cm wide, 9 cm tall, and 2 cm thick. Designed in a semi-three-dimensional style with stitching, they perfectly capture the simple, flat lines characteristic of Charles Schulz's artwork. The collection features 8 different humorous expressions and poses, including surprised, mischievous, and angry. Each charm comes with a ball chain, allowing fans to attach them to their bags, and includes an "I LIKE…" tag in a color corresponding to Snoopy's expression, making it a perfect way for collectors to show off their affection for Snoopy!
