Director Martin Campbell, who previously collaborated with French screen icon Eva Green on "Casino Royale" and "Dirty Angels," is teaming up with Green for a third time on the upcoming film "Just Play Dead." The first trailer for the thriller has just been released.
The official synopsis reveals a criminal mastermind who plots with his wife to fake his own death for insurance money, intending to frame her lover. However, his wife secretly plans to truly kill him and claim all the assets for herself. What unfolds is a deadly battle of wits between the two.

"Just Play Dead" is penned by Dan Gordon, known for writing "Rambo: Last Blood" and "Wyatt Earp." The ensemble cast features Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green, María Pedraza, and Eoin Macken. The film is set for a limited theatrical release in North America on August 28, followed by a digital and VOD release on September 1.
