Nintendo Japan has announced a brand-new "Animal Crossing" capsule toy series, the "Fruit Keychain Collection." This collection transforms the fruits and items that can fall from trees in the game into 3D charms. Featuring a total of 7 designs, the series is set to be pre-sold starting August 14, 2026, at two limited-time events in Hokkaido, before launching at official Nintendo stores (TOKYO, OSAKA, KYOTO, FUKUOKA) in September of the same year.
Fruits are not only iconic collectibles in the "Animal Crossing" series but also a key element when players first arrive on their deserted island. Beyond apples, oranges, pears, peaches, and cherries, players can also shake trees to find Bells or even accidentally knock down a beehive, leading to a frantic chase by wasps. This new collection captures that classic in-game experience of shaking a tree, blending anticipation with a touch of tension, all centered around the question: "What will fall?"
The entire collection features 7 unique 3D keychains, meticulously crafted to replicate the in-game appearance of apples, oranges, pears, peaches, cherries, the Bell bag, and a beehive. Each of the five fruits boasts its plump, rounded silhouette, vibrant coloring, and signature leaf. The Bell bag accurately reproduces its drawstring design and central star pattern. The beehive charm not only showcases its distinctive hexagonal structure but also includes a special miniature "medicine" charm, perfectly referencing the classic scenario where players need to use medicine after being stung by wasps. Each keychain also comes with a differently colored clasp or strap, allowing fans to carry their freshly "shaken" island treasures wherever they go.

These items will first be available at the "Gather! Hokkaido Airport Island Pop-up Event in New Chitose Airport," as well as the Sapporo Nintendo POP-UP STORE "Gather! Daimaru Department Store Island." Following these initial releases, the collection is expected to launch at Nintendo TOKYO, OSAKA, KYOTO, and FUKUOKA stores starting in September 2026. Official pricing per capsule and individual charm sizes have yet to be revealed, with further details anticipated soon.
