Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO is launching a new product based on Mattel's popular 90s toy line, "Street Sharks"—the "Streex" Soft Vinyl Figure. Priced at $150, pre-orders open on the official MONDO Shop website on August 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM CT!

"Street Sharks" was an animated series that aired from 1994 to 1997. It followed the story of four shark brothers, mutated in a laboratory, who escape and use their unique shark powers to fight crime. The Street Sharks toy line is widely considered to be inspired by Playmates Toys' "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series, and it remains a cherished childhood memory for many collectors, still a highly sought-after item in the secondary market today!

Streex is the team's resident rollerblading expert, instantly recognizable by his tiger shark stripes and signature rollerblades! This new Streex Soft Vinyl Figure stands approximately 22.8 cm (9 inches) tall, reinterpreting his classic design with an even more exaggerated flair. Details like the sculpted arm musculature, bulging veins, realistic gaping maw, and battle scars significantly amplify the overall visual impact. The paint application meticulously captures his yellowed teeth and the organic textures inside his mouth, while his vibrant pink markings and iconic fluorescent shorts are also faithfully recreated!

Accessories include a shark-themed hockey mask, a street sign-shaped hockey stick, and a Mondo tuna can puck. These can be combined with an alternate closed-mouth head sculpt and gloved hands to recreate his street hockey antics! Furthermore, this release also includes a shark fin effect piece, designed to look like it's bursting from asphalt, perfect for pairing with the previously released Slammu or the new color variant of Slammu for dynamic displays! This release certainly builds anticipation for the future additions of Ripster and Jab!
