Picking up dog poop is not his only duty—buying toys is his responsibility too! DEVIL TOYS and artist DEHARA YUKINORI’s tough-as-nails dog lover returns in a new collaboration with TOY PEOPLE: “AIKEN BANCHO TOY PEOPLE Ver.” Beneath that intimidating exterior, it turns out this devoted dog owner is also a hopelessly obsessive toy collector. The exclusive edition commands attention with a confrontational neon-pink school uniform, while his beloved pet has been reimagined in a black color scheme inspired by Taiwan’s native dogs. Even the embroidered slogans on his uniform have been replaced with collector-specific lines guaranteed to make fellow toy fans grin. Lottery registration is now open through TOY PEOPLE.
■ About “AIKEN BANCHO”
Created by DEHARA YUKINORI for DEVIL TOYS, AIKEN BANCHO is a hard-boiled juvenile delinquent with a fearsome appearance. His rebellious, antisocial swagger stands in hilarious contrast to the humility of a devoted dog owner who willingly takes responsibility for the messiest parts of pet care. Embroidered across the back of his uniform is the proud declaration “Dog shit is my responsibility,” perfectly capturing DEHARA’s distinctive brand of absurd humor.

The latest AIKEN BANCHO release marks a special collaboration with TOY PEOPLE. For this edition, TOY PEOPLE’s signature red has been blended with the vivid neon pink frequently seen throughout DEHARA’s work, creating a bold new color scheme for the character’s high-collared delinquent uniform. His cherished canine companion has also received a locally inspired makeover with an all-black coat reminiscent of the Taiwan Dog.
This collaboration also marks the first time the embroidery on AIKEN BANCHO’s uniform has been redesigned for a special edition. His chest bears the phrase “愛羅武犬,” a playful biker-gang-style phonetic rendering of “I Love Dog.” On the back, the wonderfully incongruous motto “Dog shit is my responsibility” has been replaced with the TOY PEOPLE-exclusive declaration “Toy collection is my responsibility.” The combination of hard-edged delinquent style and incurable collector mentality delivers exactly the kind of offbeat humor DEHARA fans have come to love.
Lottery registration for “DEVIL TOYS × DEHARA AIKEN BANCHO TOY PEOPLE Ver.” is now open exclusively through TOY PEOPLE. Be sure to submit the registration form before the deadline for a chance to add this hard-boiled toy fanatic to your collection.
