Today at its D23 Expo, Walt Disney Studios dropped a slew of major announcements for its upcoming animated slate, including updates on future Pixar features and projects from its own animation division like "Zootopia 3" and a "Kingdom Hearts" animated series.

Beyond those projects, Disney also unveiled the first piece of concept art for "Frozen 3," confirming rumors that Kristoff and Anna will be tying the knot. The film's plot will kick off with a new ice queen villain—who shares Elsa's cryokinetic powers—crashing their wedding, sending Anna and Elsa on a new quest to stop her. In a lighter turn, Olaf is also set to get a snow-woman girlfriend.

On the original animation front, new cast members were announced for "Hexed," which dropped its first trailer two months ago. Walton Goggins and Jodie Foster have joined the voice cast, with Goggins playing a three-eyed cat named Beef Roger (pictured left) and Foster voicing the villainous witch, Queen Celeste (pictured right).

The star-studded cast of "Hexed" also includes Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Jim Hanks (brother of Tom Hanks), and singer CeeLo Green. The film is slated for a Thanksgiving release in North America on November 25.

Also at D23, Disney's 20th Century Studios unveiled a new promo (see links above) and a new still (pictured above) for the next installment in its blockbuster franchise, "Ice Age: Boiling Point." The new image notably introduces a brand-new character: a dinosaur version of the beloved Scrat.

"Boiling Point" is scheduled to hit theaters in North America on February 5 of next year. A teaser trailer for the film was also released two months ago.

In addition to "Hexed," Disney also offered a first look at a previously unannounced original animated film titled "Clay," revealing concept art (above) and announcing that Kieran Culkin will star. The film is currently slated for a November 2028 release, likely targeting Disney's preferred Thanksgiving holiday window, though an exact date has not been set.

The story follows a terrible life coach named Phillip who must take a newborn ball of clay under his wing as a mentee. Jared Bush, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, explained the film's premise: while many stories feature wise and inspiring mentors guiding ambitious students, "Clay" dares to ask what happens when the mentor is actually terrible at his job.
