Japanese capsule toy maker Kitan Club is bringing back one of its most memorable early releases with the new “Dogeza Marker Charms.” Priced at 300 yen per capsule, the collection is scheduled to roll out in mid-August 2026.

Originally released in 2010, Kitan Club’s “Series Living – First Night – Dogeza Straps” became an early hit for the company with its hilariously earnest figures of office workers performing dogeza—the deeply apologetic pose of kneeling and bowing until one’s forehead touches the floor. Sixteen years later, the complete original lineup is returning in a more practical marker-charm format.
Each figure now comes with a lobster clasp and flexible silicone ring, allowing it to be attached to umbrellas, bottles, and other personal items as an easy-to-recognize marker. The collection preserves the warm, slightly offbeat sculpting of the original release and includes eight designs: Rank-and-File Employee A, Rank-and-File Employee B, Rank-and-File Employee C, New Employee A, New Employee B, Department Manager, Super Dogeza, and one secret design.
The original gag of attaching the charm hardware near each figure’s backside has also been faithfully retained. The standout remains Super Dogeza, whose pants-down, rear-in-the-air apology pose is every bit as absurdly funny today as it was 16 years ago.
