Bandai's GASHAPON division is rolling out a new set in its popular "Mejirushi Accessory" line, this time featuring characters and items from the upcoming series "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX"! The "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Mejirushi Accessory" collection will feature five different charms, priced at 300 JPY per try, and is slated for a late October 2026 release!
"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is the latest Gundam TV anime, set to premiere in 2025. The series kicks off with a fascinating "What If" scenario: What if Char had acquired the Gundam at the beginning of the One Year War? The story then jumps to the year U.C. 0085, following three young protagonists—Machiu, Nean, and Hughes—and their involvement with two new Gundams, the "GQuuuuuuX" and the "Red Gundam". Helmed by director Kazuya Tsurumaki and mecha designer Ikuto Yamashita, both renowned for their work on the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise, the series has been generating significant buzz for its distinctively EVA-esque mobile suit designs ever since its announcement.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Mejirushi Accessory" charms measure approximately 3cm in size. These compact charms come with a loop, making them perfect for attaching to and decorating just about anything. The lineup includes five unique designs: the iconic "Haro" (voiced by Rie Kugimiya), a version of "Haro (with Beanie)", Hughes's six-legged companion robot "Konchi", Zech's treasured pet "Pomeranian", and the pivotal "Installer Device" which sets the entire TV series' plot in motion. All five are recreated in an adorable, super-deformed style!
