MONDO, the renowned poster design and toy company, has unveiled a new "Street Sharks" themed product alongside their previously announced Streex figure. This latest release is the "Ripster Shark Bait Variant" Soft Vinyl Figure, inspired by Mattel's popular 90s toy line. Priced at $150 and limited to just 300 pieces, pre-orders will open on the MONDO Shop official website on August 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM CT!
Standing approximately 25.4 cm (10 inches) tall, the "Ripster Shark Bait Variant" utilizes the same sculpt from the previous standard edition, which was concept designed by acclaimed toy designer and artist James Groman. This figure dramatically reinterprets Ripster's iconic in-show appearance, showcasing incredible biological details and intensely sculpted musculature for maximum impact! The most significant change for this Shark Bait Variant is the pearlescent paint application across its entire body, giving it a captivating shimmer under light – truly eye-catching!
Accessories once again include an alternate open-mouth expression, a bent parking meter with shark teeth still embedded, and a shark fin bursting from the asphalt. Notably, the shark fin accessory also features the same pearlescent paint application, offering a distinct visual appeal compared to the original version!
