Japanese collectible manufacturer Future Factory is adding a colorful new release to its FFAF action figure line with the “FFAF Kaiju Booska Pink Ver.” Based on the title character from the classic tokusatsu television series Kaiju Booska, this new edition gives the lovable creature a nostalgic pink color scheme inspired by vintage Japanese monster toys. Priced at 10,780 yen, including tax, the figure is scheduled for release in January 2027.
Established in November 2025, Future Factory is a new figure manufacturer that has taken over portions of the business previously handled by EVOLUTION TOY. Its FFAF action figure line follows in the footsteps of EVOLUTION TOY’s earlier HAF series, continuing to bring popular heroes and characters from classic Showa-era tokusatsu productions into articulated figure collections.
Standing approximately 17 cm tall, the “FFAF Kaiju Booska Pink Ver.” uses the sculpt and articulation developed for the previously announced standard-color edition. Fine surface sculpting recreates Booska’s fluffy and irresistibly cute appearance, while articulation throughout the arms and body allows for a wide selection of poses. The movable mouth also adds extra personality and makes it possible to create a variety of cheerful expressions.
The biggest change is the intentionally non-screen-accurate pink finish, a playful color choice rooted in the tradition of vintage Japanese sofubi monsters. Combined with the creamy tones used for the belly and horns, the pastel palette gives Booska an adorably sweet strawberry-milk look. It is a distinctly nostalgic treatment that celebrates the imaginative color variations long associated with retro kaiju toys.
The accessory selection once again includes multiple interchangeable hands, along with a bowl of Booska’s beloved ramen and a pair of chopsticks. Combined with the articulated jaw and flexible joint system, these parts can recreate plenty of humorous and heartwarming poses. Displaying the Pink Ver. alongside the standard-color release also offers a fun way to showcase two very different interpretations of the classic character.
