Japanese prize brand BANPRESTO, part of BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced two new prize figures from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX: “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Char Aznable Figure” and “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Challia Bull Figure.” Both items are scheduled to begin rolling out at amusement facilities in Japan from August 25, 2026.
In the world of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Char Aznable and Challia Bull are both celebrated Newtype pilots of the Principality of Zeon forces. Char, known as the Red Comet, and Challia, feared as the “Gray Ghost,” fought together during the One Year War and were closely tied to the development of the two-unit M.A.V. tactics. After Char vanished during the Second Battle of Solomon, caught in the “Zeknova” phenomenon, Challia continued to believe he was alive and kept searching for the whereabouts of Char’s former machine, the Red Gundam.
Both figures stand at approximately 26 cm tall, giving them a strong shelf presence for prize releases. Based on their anime designs, the sculpts capture the characters’ long proportions, distinctive uniforms, and facial details. Char is posed standing with his mask on, keeping his trademark sense of mystery intact, while Challia is shown with one hand at his beard, creating a calm, contemplative look. Displayed together, the two figures make a fitting set for this memorable Zeon duo from GQuuuuuuX.
